Thank you to everyone that attended the Ministry Celebration for The Rev. Dr. David & Gemma Barfield. They have been a valuable asset to the ministries of St. Michaels, and we wish them all the best for their retirement.
Wednesday, July 18th, the church family of St. Michaels was privileged and honored to share lunch with the men and women of the Anniston Police Department. We presented a poster signed by the St. Michaels family to the officers as a token of our appreciation and support of the job they do every day. Thank you to everyone that supported
Please mark your calendars for a special dinner that will occur on September 27th at St. Michael’s. On that evening, we will partner with the Anniston Farmers’ Market to co-sponsor a farm-to-table type dinner. Local chefs will prepare the menus, and market vendors will provide food, wine and flowers. St. Michael’s cloisters will serve as the setting for the white tablecloth event.
During the Summer, we will not have Sunday Morning Christian Education or Children’s Sunday School, and we will also not have the Tuesday evening Contemplative/Meditative Service.
Everyone is invited to Sunday morning Eucharist beginning at 10:30am, Evening Prayer (2nd & 4th Sundays of each month) at 5:30pm, and Iona Healing Service Thursdays at 11:30am.
